In an interview with Harper's Bazaar U.K. that hit newsstands yesterday, Gisele Bundchen declared, "There should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breastfeed their babies for six months," she said. "Are you going to give chemical food to your child, when they are so little?"

Why stop at 6 months? You're only going to give them formula until around age 1 because they are not able to digest cow's milk until then. So why on earth would you make it mandatory for six months on the bases that you don't want to give your child "chemical food" when you're only going to stop nursing at 6 months to do it anyway??
ReplyDeleteI don't think you can make that law. Not everyone can nurse. But I nursed all my kids since birth. It's the best for them. I hate govt getting involved in everyone's business.
